The MWB-28 multi-trade wall box is designed for installations where multiple devices, such as PoE network switches, set-top boxes, and emergency call systems, can be secured and easily accessed for maintenance. The MWB-28 measures 28 inches tall, simplifying AV/IT installations by providing space for routing cables, AC power connections, and digital media products. The front flange is designed to sit flush with the finished wall surface, ensuring a clean and professional appearance. This wall box will fit in 16” on-center wood or metal studs. It features five top KOs along with four bottom KOs. The box features a flush key lock for secure access and a white cover that blends seamlessly into any environment, allowing for orientation in either direction.

For convenience, the MWB-28 ships with a 3-Decorator SpikeShield 15-amp surge-protected AC bracket. A variable-speed, temperature-controlled fan is available as an optional cooling solution. Whisper-quiet, the fan produces a 24 dBA SPL at an 80-watt heat load. It is designed to maintain an internal box temperature below 104°F with a 100-watt thermal load, keeping internal equipment at a safe temperature. The MWB-28 includes a set of internal brackets, providing mounting flexibility for electronic devices.
