FSR's EDID Emulator helps stabilize HDMI systems by managing the EDID information sent between a display and the source device. The DR-EDID2 can be inserted at either end of an HDMI signal chain and allows installers to use one of five preset EDID files or learn, store, and recall up to three EDID tables from connected displays.
This compact, self-powered, bidirectional HDMI tool is useful for troubleshooting unstable images, no-image issues, excessive cable length problems, and source/display communication conflicts. With HDCP 1.4 and 2.2 compatibility, HDMI 1.3, 1.4, and 2.0 support, hot-pluggable operation, 4K/UHD 60Hz support, a rotary EDID selector, and LED indication, FSR's EDID Emulator is a practical service and installation tool for conference rooms, classrooms, digital signage, control rooms, and professional AV systems.
