If you’ve ever wanted to see what practical AV gear looks like in action, the FSR booth at InfoComm 2025 was the place to be. While there is plenty to be said about the razzle-dazzle of the brightest and thinnest LEDs and the most responsive of touch screens, FSR is all about the solutions that make those things work their best. And installation? FSR is all about that being easy, too. The company also focused on space-conscious design and code-compliant solutions at this year’s show. Let’s take a virtual walkthrough of its booth, and take a look at everything FSR wanted to show for healthcare, education and corporate environments.
Healthcare
Let’s start with something important: patient privacy. FSR’s MWB-28 was a standout here — it’s a HIPAA-compliant, multi-trade wall box made to shine in healthcare settings and other installations where multiple devices, such as PoE network switches, set-top boxes and emergency call systems, can be secured and easily accessed for maintenance.
The MWB-28 is HIPAA-compliant because it includes a flush-key lockable cover and secures multiple trades behind one box. This means that instead of entering patient rooms, vendors such as electricians, IT, and telecom can access what they need from this box in the hallway.
Control and Power Management
FSR debuted new locking touch screen enclosures for 7- and 10-inch devices from Crestron, Extron and Q-SYS. The WB-TSC series covers (that come in both surface and flush mount) provide security against unauthorized access while allowing users to monitor the control panel’s status through the clear window without opening the locked door.
FSR also showed the PWB-320, now with an easy-install shelf that gives integrators more flexibility when mounting gear inside the wall. It’s still one of the most versatile wall boxes in FSR’s lineup, and the new shelf just makes it even easier to work with.
Tabletop and Floor Connectivity
For flexible spaces, the FL-300 floor box remains a rugged, versatile option for power and data — great for reconfigurable rooms that still need stability.
When it comes to power connections on a tabletop, FSR’s Symphony Connect tabletop boxes provide AC and USB connections and are a great option. There are multiple color combinations, and the Symphony Collection’s curved shapes allow for large cable-to-bulkhead AV connections while looking clean and organized. No aesthetic problems here.
Other Updates
FSR’s Smart-Way Raceway System (on the floor in this image)
FSR rolled out two upgrades to its Smart-Way Raceway system:
- A flush-mount baseboard feed that eliminates protrusions into a room — perfect for rooms where design matters (FYI: It should be all of them.)
- A kit-based system that comes in 6-, 9- or 12-foot lengths, making it easier than ever to specify and order. It’s also now available in slate aluminum.
Daisy-Chainable Power Distribution System
This new power solution allows up to six wall boxes to be daisy-chained across 60 feet.
This means one line rather than each box requiring its own dedicated conduit and power drop. This system is particularly valuable for those AV integrators managing larger, multi-box configurations — because now this system makes the boxes much more serviceable!
So, again, FSR’s booth is all about making your projects work and making them work elegantly with no stress. And with these products, you have some new behind-the-scenes best friends to keep installs clean and manageable.
