This presentation is a two-hour version of the previous FSR presentation, "Structured cabling Basic’s for A/V Technicians & designers". This is an in-depth introduction to best practices of structured cabling installations and design as based on industry standards (TIA and BICSI) covering the codes and standards that make up a buildings ICT,( information communications technology), including copper vs fiber and why they are both needed and when, consolidation points, horizontal zone enclosures, cable pathways, correct cable lengths variations by cable type including Cat 8 & proper terminations of the same, PoE and the many new applications for the low voltage industry and much more. There will be a 5 minute break at the one hour point in the presentation
