Designing Low Voltage Technology for Infrastructure Spaces is an overview course created by FSR on the infrastructure that are required for today’s low voltage systems based on industry standards to educate architects on new technologies in almost every application in today’s & future and current building designs.

• To understand the basic advantages of a "Smart Building" and the infrastructure that is required to support it.

• Learn the main components of a structured cabling system including: backbone cabling, horizontal cabling, pathways and spaces, work areas, bonding and grounding, administration and testing.

• Learn the principle and benefits of PoE (Power over Ethernet) and how it is implemented in the Smart Building. Learn about the cabling concerns when using this technology.
