FSR's Flagship UL Listed Floor Box. The FL-500P floor box combines rugged construction and an elegant design for use on carpet, tile, or wood-covered floors over poured concrete. This floor box has ample compartment space to accommodate power, audio, video, telecommunications, and data in one elegant, practical box. These floor boxes are not only UL and CUL listed but also have passed the latest UL scrub water test. The standard only applied to boxes installed in concrete, not raised-access boxes. Because of our unique engineering and manufacturing ability, FSR floor boxes pass for carpeted floors as well as tile and wood! The hinged door section of the cover allows full access to internal connector plates and stored cables, and the smaller hinged cable access door flips back to create the cable exit. When the floor box is not in use, the cover is completely closed, allowing unencumbered travel in the area with only the hand-mitered, elegant carpet edge visible. The low-profile edging is 1/4” or 1/2” high and is available in brass or aluminum.

The innovation continues to the configurable back box. The FL-500P's internal brackets can be arranged to provide numerous options for both high- and low-voltage standard gang openings, making it the most flexible and easiest-to-install floor box available. The FL-500P floor box is designed to withstand the rigors of a floor environment while maintaining flexibility and elegance.

The Floor Boxes are available in the following depths: 2.25, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10". The 2.25 and 3" depths have special gang configurations. Each floor box comes with a temporary construction cover. Boxes and covers are sold separately.
