Series Composite Video & Audio Switchers
Designed for both professional and high end home installations, these switchers answer the needs of the industry at an affordable price.
The AVS-8x1 & AVS-8x2, incorporate audio gain controls for each input, and a master gain control for each output. The video section can handle NTSC, PAL, or Secam.
Control of all functions on these switchers can be manual (front panel) or remote. Remote control can be via IR (an IR transmitter is supplied), serial (RS-232 or RS-485) or standard switches and lamps. The serial control port is AMX and Crestron compatible. The Macro’s are available to ease integration.
The AVS-8x1 accepts up to eight balanced stereo audio inputs, which can be summed to provide a mono output if desired, and provides a transformer coupled, balanced stereo output.The AVS 8x2 has two independent outputs.
Both switchers have a backlit LCD display that shows the selected channel and device name. The display also shows the input trim and master gain settings in dB, and is used as the user interface when programming options.
